Mr. Wilson "Bubba" Jarrell, Jr., 76, resident of Co Op Road East in Hampton, husband of Kathy Jo Jarrell, died Saturday morning, April 4, 2026, at his residence.
Born March 21, 1950, in Hampton, Mr. Jarrell was the son of the late Wilson "Slim" Jarrell, Sr. and Martha Marie Sauls Jarrell. He worked over 30 years as a carpenter, retiring as Superintendent for Brunson Construction and had a knack for being able to build just about anything he set his mind to. Mr. Jarrell was a "jack of all trades" who in addition to his carpentry work; was a great mechanic and a master at researching anything he wanted to know.
Mr. Jarrell was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Kathy Jo Subbert Jarrell, of the home, Mr. Jarrell is survived by his daughter, Khristy Case (Charles Rahn) of Islandton and two granddaughters, Destiny Case (Dylan North) of Hampton and Fallyn Rahn of Islandton.
He was predeceased by his parents, Slim and Marie Jarrell, and two siblings, Elizabeth Marie Jarrell and Ray Caskell Jarrell.
Visitation will be from 5 PM – 7 PM Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Hampton Chapel located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924.
There are no formal services scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorials to be made to the St. Paul Cemetery, c/o Donna Pitman-Thames, 515 Hoover St. N., Hampton, SC 29924.
Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Jarrell family during this time.
