Willis Anthony Bowers

Mr. Willis Anthony Bowers of Greg Robert Drive near Varnville, died Friday morning in the Medical University Hospital in Charleston.

Mr. Bowers was born Nov. 12, 1962 in Hampton, a son of Willis Albert Bowers and the late Carolyn Crosby Bowers. He was a Timber Buyer and was the owner and operator of Bowers Timber Company. Mr. Bowers has been a sponsor of the Log A. Load for Children that was held each year at the Broxton Bridge Hunting Lodge. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, and Football, but especially spending time with his Grandchildren at his Family Farm.

Surviving besides his Father of Hilda are: His wife: Pamela Diana Hughes Bowers of Varnville; Sons: Willis Anthony Bowers Jr. and wife Diana of Aiken, Tyson Kyle Bowers and wife Brittiny of Englewood, Florida; Brother: Randy Bowers and wife April of Carrollton, Kentucky; and grandchildren: Willis Aidan Bowers and Owen Joseph Bowers.

A visitation for Mr. Bowers will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton, from 5 to 7 P.M.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
