Willie Lorraine Johnson

BRUNSON DATELINE:  Mrs. Willie Lorraine Blount Johnson, of Lightsey Street in Brunson, died Monday evening at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs. Johnson was born March 11, 1954 in Savannah, Georgia a daughter of the late Willie Artis "Boyd" Blount and Daisy Bell Brown Blount. She was a Caregiver in the community, and devoted her time to caring and loving her family members.

She was a member of the Open Arms Fellowship Church in Hampton.

Surviving are: Her Husband, Carl Michael Johnson of Brunson; Daughter: Lorraine Roberts and husband Kevin of Nixville; Son: James C. Collins, Jr. and wife Tammy of Cummings; Grandchildren: Heather Jarrell, Chelsea Jarrell, and Alex Crosby; Great Grandson: Carter Williams; and a Sister in Law: Diane Johnson of Nixville.

Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by a Brother: James Collins Sr.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Thursday in the Nixville Church of God Church, conducted by Rev. Mike Frederickson, with burial in the Church Cemetery, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 1 P.M. prior to the services at the Church.
