William "Buddy" Sauls

William "Buddy" Sauls, 81,  passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at sunset in San Leandro, California.

He was born February 9, 1937 in Hampton, SC, a son of the late Gettis and Edna Bowers Sauls.  In his heart, Hampton was always his home.  He served in the Navy then became plant operations supervisor for PG&E in San Francisco.  He was an excellent craftsman and could build or fix anything.  He loved fishing and being with family and friends.  He was the third of 6 siblings, Marie Jarrell, Betty Padgett, Johnny Sauls, Jimmy Sauls and Richard Sauls.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Vonk and son, William Sauls.  There are 6 grandchildren, Richard, Vanessa, Joost, Helena, Hali and Hunter.

Private family services will be held at a later date assisted by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, SC.
