William Deloach Holstein

Mr. William DeLoach Holstein of Brookwood Drive near Varnville, died Thursday evening in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Holstein was born February 23, 1947 in Hampton County, a son of the late William and Eleanor DeLoach Holstein.  He had retired from the shipping department at Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton, and enjoyed sports, cooking and spending time with his family.

Surviving are:  his fiance':  Naida Nicci Lee of Varnville; son:  Chad Holstein and wife Jody of Hampton;  daughter:  Eleanor J. Holstein-Lee of Hampton;  step-children:  Anthony and Amanda Lee;  sisters:  Sarah Varn of Orlando and Louise Tarnecky and husband Stan of Charleston;  12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Holstein was predeceased by a brother, Al Holstein and a sister, Patricia Todd.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Holstein will be Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
