Wanda Latrelle Still

HAMPTON: Mrs. Wanda Latrelle Thomas Byrd Still, of Melvin Circle in Hampton, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 24, 2023 at her residence.  She was 88.

Mrs. Still was born January 16, 1935 in Fairfax, a daughter of the late Lenwood Rizer Thomas Sr. and Margaret Darley Thomas. She was a graduate of Wofford College, and had worked as a Secretary with Low State Tractor Company in Fairfax for many years. Mrs. Still was a member of the Fairfax 1st Baptist Church, end enjoyed fishing, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: Daughter: Sonja D. Smith of Hampton; Brother: Jan Thomas and wife Glory of Fairfax; Grandchildren: Brandon Driggers, Todd Driggers, "Brittney", Pam Driggers, Ashley Spade, "Mikey", and Lee Smith; and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Still was predeceased by her husband: Thomas Benton; Brothers: Linwood Rizer Thomas Jr., and Garth Wayne Thomas; and one grandson:  Edward Troy Driggers Jr. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Fairfax Cemetery, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at the Cemetery.
