Virginia Opal West Sullivan

Mrs. Virginia Opal West Sullivan of North Main Street in Brunson, died Saturday at her residence in Brunson.

Mrs. Sullivan was born May 2, 1928 in Clifton, S.C. a daughter of the late Robert Luther West and Ethel Thomas West. She was a Homemaker and was a member of the Brunson Baptist Church where she had been active with the W. M. U.

Mrs. Sullivan was the widow of John Mack Sullivan Jr.

Surviving are; Son: John R. Sullivan and wife Linda of Fairfax; Daughters: Maxine Chesser and husband Bobby of Batesburg-Leesville, and Betty Spickelmier and husband Willie of Mission, Texas; Grandchildren: Renee C. Kepner, Scott Chesser, Stephanie Peterson, Darin Petersen, Robin Mack, Robert Sullivan, and Jason Sullivan. There are Ten Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. R.P. Hodge, with burial in the Fairfax Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 2 P. M. Prior to the services at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Brunson Baptist Church at P.O. Box 70 Brunson, SC 29911.
