Valorie Griner

Valorie Dempsey Griner, 80, of Varnville, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday evening, September 3, 2020.

She was born January 06, 1940 in Hampton County, a daughter of Buril Frank Dempsey and Thelma Freeman Dempsey.

She is survived by one sister, Emily Nadine Linderman of Okatie, SC and two brothers, Freddie and Aaron Dempsey, both of Varnville, SC, and a number of nieces and nephews who were the delight of her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William H. Griner, a sister, Pansy D. Wooten and a brother, James W. Dempsey.

Valorie was a lifetime member of Sand Hill Baptist Church in Varnville, SC, where she will be laid to rest in a graveside service 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 6, 2020.  Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
