Tommy Faircloth

Thomas P. Faircloth age 69, entered into rest at his home on 1/21/25 with his wife by his side.  Tommy was born on 10/26/1955 in Vidalia Ga. He was the son of the late Samual (Bubba) P. Faircloth and Juanita Roberts Bullard.

Tommy was a man of many talents and could do anything. He held many different positions with different companies but in his early 20's he was taught linework by a very special Uncle Jay Martin Sanders.  While he worked in factories and wired swimming pools in the late 70's his true passion was overhead power line work which he returned to and finished his career as the Overhead Manger for a Sub-contractor with SCE&G where he was known to his co-workers as Tommy T.  Tommy loved going to work every day, but he really loved "Running Storms" from hurricanes to ice storms he loved the joy of helping people.

He married the love of his life Tonya on May 12, 2001. Tonya will always joke and tell people you throw the party, and I will bring the entertainment. Tommy loved having a good time. He enjoyed Golfing, fishing, camping, and cooking for large crowds but mostly he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Tonya Campbell Faircloth of the home their children Mickey (Missy) Faircloth of Barnwell, SC, Cole (Megan) Gray of Dearing, Ga, Bailey (Perry) Gifford of Estill, SC and Chris (Natsha)Bonin of Augusta, GA, 7 grandchildren, Jarrett (Michaella) Grubbs, Brooks Gifford, Peyton, Blakely and Wyatt Gray, Layla and Anderson Bonin. His sisters Patricia Brewer, Hazelhurst, GA, Terri Jo (George Lee) Joyner Olar, SC, Zina Hiers (Lawerence) Ehrhardt, SC and Liz (Doug Maddison) of PA. His father-in-law and mother Sidney and Belinda Campbell of Thomson Ga and three sisters-in-law April (Steve) Keene, Stacey (Paul) Hopkins), Stephanie Campbell   along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews

He was proceeded in death by his parents, three bothers Kenny Faircloth, David Bullard and Anthony Williamson, two sisters Brenda Myers and infant Dana Faircloth a very special Aunt and Uncle, Betty Jo and Jay Martin Sanders 1 brother-in-law James Brewer and 1 sister-in-law Michelle Bullard.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

A visitation will be from 2 PM - 4 PM, Sunday afternoon, January 26, 2025, at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924.

Pallbearers will be Cole Gray, Jarret Grubbs, Tanner Brewer, James Brewer, Clint Carter, Chandler Hiers, Colin Carter and Conner Teague

The family would like to thank Agape Hospice Care for the compassionate and excellent care provided to him over the course of his illness, especially Terri Sharp, RN and Kendra Mole who became family to Tommy and Tonya.
