Mr. Tommy Lee Creswell, 57, resident of Old Double Springs Road in Aiken, SC, known to his family and friends as "Tom Cat", passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 29, 2026, at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center – Augusta University in Augusta, GA.
Born November 6, 1968, in Savannah, Georgia, Mr. Creswell was the son of the late Terry Donald Creswell, Sr. and the late Ruth Lee Butler Creswell. He was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School and worked after graduating for his family fence business, Creswell Fence Company, for many years. Recently, he worked in carpentry and maintenance for Augusta University Hospital in Augusta. Mr. Creswell loved tinkering in his shop, working on cars, watching drag racing, and most of all he loved his family. Known to his family as a "jack of all trades", he will be remembered for being the man who would do anything for anyone.
Surviving is his beloved daughter, Lynne Creswell Stanley (Alex) of Hampton; his step-mother, Paulette W. Creswell of Hampton; his adored granddaughter, Charlotte Stanley. . . or as he called her, "Chuck". . . of Hampton; his brother, Terry Donald Creswell, Jr. (Donna) of Brunson; his sister, Terry Lynne Musser of Sycamore, and his nieces and nephews: Stacey Lee (Alexis), Joey, Sam (Abbey), Adam (Bryson), and Evan. Mr. Creswell is also survived by his best friend, his dog, Kira as well as many beloved great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Polly Anna Musser Smith, and a nephew, Zackary Clayton Creswell.
Memorial Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924, conducted by Pastor James Porter.
Visitation will begin at 1 PM and last until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that those who wish send memorials to the Hampton Animal Shelter, 460 Cemetery Rd., Varnville, SC 29944.
Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Creswell family during this time.
