Tanis Carroll Hudson

Mr. Tanis Carroll Hudson, Sr., formerly of Early Branch, died Tuesday in the Summerville Medical Center.

Mr. Hudson was born in Ridgeland August 21, 1940, a son of the late James Elliott Hudson and Ruby Trimnal Hudson.  He had worked  as a Welding Quality Control Inspector.

Surviving are:  Sons:  Tanis C. Hudson, Jr. of Fairfax, Christopher and Anthony Hudson of Adamsville, Alabama; Daughters:  Teresa Hudson Stokes of Summerville and Robin Diane Hudson Boyles Diaz of Marietta, Georgia; and one brother:  Donald Hudson of Summerville.  There are 9 grandchildren.  Mr. Hudson was predeceased by:  a son:  Timothy Hudson; and a brother:  Bobby Hudson.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Yemassee directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.  Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service.
