Sharon Mcknight Fisher

Mrs. Sharon Louise McKnight Fisher, 80, resident of West Pine Street in Varnville, SC, wife of Paul A. Fisher, Sr., passed away early Tuesday morning, November 4, 2025 at her residence.

Born June 3, 1945, in Blacklick, Ohio, Mrs. Fisher was the daughter of the late Elmer McKnight and Elizabeth Jane Burgett McKnight. She graduated from Boone High School in Orlando, Florida where her family lived in her youth and was a homemaker throughout her life. Mrs. Fisher had a deep love for her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for always enjoying being around her loved ones and for her love of frogs.

Surviving besides her husband, Paul A. Fisher, Sr., of the home, are her daughters, Stephanie Fisher of Columbus, Ohio and Susan Jenkins (Terry) of Beaufort, SC, and her son, Paul Fisher, Jr. of Varnville, SC. There are also 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fisher is predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Darryl Hinkle.

Memorial Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924, conducted by Rev. Dr. Thomas H. Kelly.

Visitation will begin at 1 PM prior to the service and last until the hour of the service in the chapel.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Fisher family during this time.
