Savannah Kelley

HAMPTON:     Savannah Grace Kelley, affectionately known to all of her friends and family as Savannah, passed away tragically Monday night, April 8, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was 16 years old.

Savannah was born January 7, 2008 a daughter of Misty Stanley Kelley and Darrel Kelley. She was home-schooled through the Acellus Academy, and possessed a level of intelligence far beyond her years. She loved everything a young girl normally does…especially her jewelry and collection of rings. She was known for her artistic talent, her favorite color was purple, and she cherished the times spent with her best friend Cheyenne.  Although her time on Earth was was far too brief, she was loved beyond measure by her family and her friends…and she returned that love even more.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Austin Kelley, and by her sister Zoe Kelley.  She leaves behind her grandmothers Claire Murdaugh of Islandton, and Rose Marie Rivers of Sycamore, as well as her uncle, Phillip "Little Phil" Stanley Jr.  She is enjoying a glorious reunion in heaven with her grandparents that predeceased her, Phillip Martin Stanley Sr., and Ray and Carolyn Kelley, and with her uncle, Michael Craig Stanley.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, April 13, 2024 at 3:00 at Sandy Run Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 that same afternoon at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street in Hampton, which is in charge of arrangements.
