Sarah Virginia Peninger

Sarah Virginia Peninger, age 66, passed away peacefully February 27, 2025. She was born February 16, 1959, in Spartanburg, SC to the late David and Sally Peninger.

Virginia was a very talented musician and always volunteered to play music anytime. She loved to travel and visited many exciting places. Throughout her life, her kindness had no bounds.

Virginia is survived by her sisters; Amanda (Steve) Bridges and Elizabeth "Betsy" (Erik) Huffine as well as five nieces and one nephew.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Greater Faith International Ministries, 325 West Carolina Avenue in Varnville, SC. A celebration of Virginia's life will be conducted at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Virginia's memory.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Peninger family during this time.
