Ruthie Brunson

Mrs. Annie Ruth "Ruthie" Moseley Brunson, 65, of Williams Lane near Hampton, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, January 10, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Brunson was born January 24, 1955 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late J.C. Moseley and Mary Crosby Moseley.  She was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband in his businesses throughout the years.  She was a member of Lighthouse Church near Hampton.

Surviving is her husband, James Elwood Brunson of Hampton;  Jay Brunson and wife Amanda, Scott Brunson and wife Karen and Lance Brunson and wife Julie, all of Hampton;  brother:  Larry Crosby of Barnwell;  sister:  Marie M. Williams and husband Laverne of Sevierville, Tennessee; and Grandchildren:  Brandon, Caleb, Hannah, Alexis, Calin "Bug", Rylin, Blakelin, Brylie, Avery, Liam, Jacob and Annistyn.  Mrs. Brunson was predeceased by her parents, her brothers:  Cecil Polk and Damon Crosby; and a sister:  Audrey Jarrell.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Lighthouse Church between Hampton and Brunson, conducted by Rev. Brian Trent and Rev. David Schaffer with a private burial following the service directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at the Church Wednesday at 12:30 PM prior to services.
