Ruth Hamilton

Mrs. Ruth Bowers Hamilton, 92, of Estill, formerly of Early Branch, died Thursday afternoon, March 11, 2021, in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Hamilton was born October 12, 1928 in Garnett, a daughter of the late Henry F. Bowers and Jessee Lee Drawdy Bowers.  She was a homemaker, a member of Ridgeville Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star.   She was the widow of Nicholas "Nick" William Hamilton.

Surviving is her daughter Monikue Cooper and husband Denny of Furman; grandchildren Heather Cook and husband Travis of Lena and Allana Seegers and husband Tony of Elgin; and great-grandchildren Preston and Kadence Cook and Lailee Seegers.

A private funeral service will be held 3 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 in the Hamilton Cemetery near Brunson, conducted by Rev. Brian Trent and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
