Mr. Roy H. Mole, 94, of Mosley Street in Hampton, died Wednesday evening in the Veterans Victory Home in Walterboro.

Mr. Mole was born December 24, 1924 in Hampton County, a son of the late David Cameron Mole and Bessie Mae Priester Mole.  He had retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton as a Supervisor and enjoyed deer hunting and Nascar.  He was a member of the Allendale First Baptist Church and was married to the late Ruby Mae Wood Mole.

Surviving are:  son:  Charles Randy Mole of Moncks Corner;  daughter:  Linda M. Hiers and husband Dan of Hampton;  sister:  Bessie M. Bibeau of Hampton;  grandchildren:  Russell S. Hiers and wife Leigh of Hampton and Dan Hiers, Jr.; and a great-grandson:  Matthew Logan Hiers.  Mr. Mole was predeceased by his wife; a son:  Jerry Mole;  a great-grandson:  Rylan Hiers; four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial in the Swallow Savannah Cemetery in Allendale.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at the Chapel in Hampton located at 300 Mulberry Street West.
