Rosann Merriott Light

Mrs. Rosann Merriott Light of Walterboro died Monday morning in the Pruitt Health Care Facility in Walterboro.

Mrs. Light was born July 2, 1944 in Lebanon, Indiana, a daughter of the late Alfred Eugene Merriott and Virginia Sharpe Merriott.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Cottageville Church of the Nazarene.  Mrs. Light was the widow of Enoch Burton "Sonny" Light.

Surviving are:  sons:  Joel Burton Light of Walterboro and Jon Michael Light of Crocketville;  brother:  Mike Merriott of Minnesota;  and two sisters:  Patty Bland and husband Randy of Gilbert and Sharon Hale of Texas.  There are 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Jay Kendall Light.

Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
