Robert Albert Grovenstein

Mr. Robert Grovenstein of Beulah Road, near Estill, passed away Thursday morning at his residence.

Mr. Grovenstein was born September 15, 1946 in Springfield, Georgia a son of the late Albert Grovenstein and Venita Tillman Grovenstein.  He had worked in the sales department at L & L Auto Parts in Estill for many years and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church near Estill.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria Jane Breland Grovenstein of Estill, sons, Clyde and Michael Grovenstein of Estill, sister, Kathryn Parks of Newton, North Carolina, brothers in laws Heyward and Bill Breland of Estill, and grandchildren, Wyatt, Easton, Stella and Maddox.  Mr. Grovenstein was predeceased by a brother, Shealy Grovenstein.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday in the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Dewey Shaffer and Brian Toney, with burial in the church cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral and Monday until 1:00 pm when the casket will be placed in the church prior to services.
