Robert Lee "Buddy" Cox

Robert Lee "Buddy" Cox, age 61, passed away at his home in Williston, ND on September 19, 2018.

Buddy was born April 2, 1957 in Augusta, Georgia to Emmit Lee and Mazie Cox.  He attended North High School and Bakersfield College before beginning his extensive career in the Oil Industry.  Buddy enjoyed watching NASCAR, family, friends and bonfires.

Buddy is survived by his mother Mazie Cox Witcher, wife Valerie Cox, daughters Dwan Harris and Katrina Cox, Grandchildren Jacqueline and Joseph Hall and Joshua Harris, Katy Cox, Anthony "Tony" Bishop, his siblings Dean (Nancy) Cox and Diana (Troy) Staib, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Emmit Lee Cox and maternal grandparents Claude and Lillie Griner.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at Nixville Cemetery conducted by Rev. Barney Tuten and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
