Randy Nix

Mr. William Randy Nix, 58, of Co-Op Road in Hampton, died Friday, December 13, 2019 in the Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia after an extended illness.

Mr. Nix was born July 6, 1961 in Orangeburg, a son of the late William Randolph Nix and Frances Reynolds Nix.  He had worked with Coastal Technologies as a duct technician and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.  He also enjoyed playing pool and was the League Operator with the American Pool Players Association.

Surviving are his wife:  Connie Lois Moseley Nix of Hampton;  son:  Phillip Nix and wife Becky of Varnville;  daughter:  Renee Nix and fiance' Michael Powell of Hampton;  brother:  Ricky Nix and wife Karen of Atlanta, Georgia;  sister:  Connie Sauls of Beaufort; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Nix was predeceased by his parents and a son, Joseph Scott Nix.

Memorial services will be 4 PM Monday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
