Randy William Crosby, Sr.

Early Branch:  Mr. Randy William Crosby, Sr., 54, resident of Pine Level Church Road in Early Branch, died Monday, May 27, 2024, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah.

Born July 5, 1969, in Hampton County, he was the son of William Truman Crosby and the late Helen Paulette Smith Crosby. Mr. Crosby previously worked as a truck driver and was an avid hunter and fisherman who thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. Most importantly, he was a wonderful father and loving grandfather to his four grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sons: Randy William Crosby, Jr. of Grays, Matthew Shane Smith and his wife Lynn of Yemassee, and Nicholas Crosby of Early Branch; four grandchildren: Bryleigh Crosby, Carter Thames, Harper Thames, and McKenna Smith; a sister: Kimberly Brunson and her husband J.W. of Hampton, and a brother: William Truman Crosby and his wife Rachel of Savannah.

He was predeceased in death by his mother.

Memorial Services will be 3 PM, Sunday, June 2, 2024, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton conducted by Rev. Heyward Evans.

A visitation will begin at 2 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Crosby family during this time.
