Paul Albert Curtis

PINELAND :     Mr. Paul Albert Curtis of John Penn Road near Pineland, died Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at his residence, after a brief illness.

Mr. Curtis was born April 15, 1952 in Estill, a son of the late James Bud Curtis, and Lois Tuten Curtis. He was a retired Truck Driver, and was a member of the Furman Baptist Church.  He loved Hunting and Fishing, and also spending time with his Grandchildren.

Surviving are:  Daughters:  Crystal Wooten and husband Henry of Hampton, and Lisa Murdaugh and husband Linsey of Varnville; Sister:  Paula Hiers and husband Dickie of New Ellington; Sister in Law:  Alice Curtis of Estill; Grandchildren:  Ashley Wooten, Tyler Wooten "Sara", Brianna Murdaugh "C. J. Sauls", Natalie Wooten, and Joel Murdaugh; Great Grandchildren:  Maci, Nora, and Paisley; His special Companion, Lois Crapse, and a number of Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. Curtis was predeceased by a Brother:  Daniel Bud Curtis.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Brian Toney, with burial in the Stafford Church Cemetery near Furman.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 4th from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
