Patricia Rivers White

Mrs. Patricia "Patti" Ann Rivers White, 72, resident of Chestnut Avenue in Falls Church, Virginia, widow of the late Donald "Don" K. White, Jr., passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Born February 13, 1953, in Rockville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George H. Rivers and Eva Cottrill Rivers. Mrs. White graduated from Rockville High School in Rockville, Maryland and furthering her education obtaining her bachelor of science degree in Management from National-Louis University. She worked many years for the Department of Defense and later retired as a Training Specialist from the Naval Service Warfare Center (NSWC), Carderock Division in Bethesda, Maryland. Mrs. White was a loving mother and grandmother who in her spare time enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Patti loved fiercely and was known for her unwavering support to her family and friends. She was a master at researching, planning, and completing tasks with great attention to detail. Her family and friends will forever mourn the loss of her.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rockville, Maryland.

Surviving is her son, Donald Keith White, III (Sarah Beth) of Woodstock, Georgia; her daughter, Ashley Eva Arevalo (White) (Jimmy Antonio) of Sterling, Virginia, and her beloved grandchildren, Matthew Alexander White, Alexandra Olvia White, and Allison Isabella Arevalo. She is also survived by a sister, Eva Geraldine Rivers of Washington State.

In addition to her parents, George H. and Eva Rivers, Mrs. White is predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Donald Keith "Don" White, Jr., and a brother, James H. Rivers.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, S.C. 29924, conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly. Burial will follow in the Rivers Cemetery near Brunson, South Carolina.
