Patricia Helen Owens

DOUGLASVILLE, GEORGIA DATELINE:

Mrs. Patricia Helen Owens of Kings Highway in Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Sunday evening at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs. Owens was born February 21, 1926 in India, a daughter of the late Maurice G. Campion and Dorothy Thew Champion.  She was a retired School Teacher and a retired employee of the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Parole.  She was member of the Douglasville Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a supporter of the S. P. C. A.  She was a graduate of Southern Adventist University in Tennessee.

Surviving are:  Sons:  Daniel Owens and wife Deana of Douglasville and John Owens and wife Anna of Douglasville; and a Brother:  Robert Champion of Napa, California.  Mrs. Owens was predeceased by her parents: Her husband:  Wylie Owens; and a Sister:  Dorothy Kimes.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p. m. Friday in the Crocketville Cemetery, conducted by Pastors Felecia and Lamar Phillips and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
