Patricia Beard

Mrs. Patricia DeLoach Beard, 72, of Furman, SC, wife of Brian Beard, passed away Tuesday evening, August 20, 2024, at Hampton Regional Medical Center, in Varnville, SC.

Born in Hampton County, SC on November 14, 1951, Mrs. Beard was the daughter of Betty H. DeLoach of Furman and the late Fred W. DeLoach.  Mrs. Beard retired after many years from the Department of Social Servies as a Case Worker Manager.  Mrs. Beard was affectionately called Pishee.

Surviving in addition to her husband, a son, William "Ty" A. Tison Jr. and his wife Charity, grand-daughters, Rylee Tison and Faith Dixon, and husband Marcus, Nephews, Walt Deloach and wife April, and children, Walton Deloach and Lexy Stanley, and Blake DeLoach and children Kensley and Jaxon DeLoach.  In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Fred W. DeLoach, Jr.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Steep Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery, with visitation at Furman Baptist Church from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday.
