Orin Tyrel Richards

Mr. Orin Tyrel Richards, 39, of Youmans Road near Hampton died Thursday afternoon in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Richards was born June 8, 1979 in Savannah, Georgia, a son of the late Clyde Richards and Pamela Cooke.  He was an industrial machine operator and worked with Valmont Industries in Estill.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Nixville Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons:  Clayton and Chandler Richards of Hampton; half-brothers:  Anthony Richards, Aaron Woods and Eddie Woods, all of Jacksonville, Florida, Allen Woods of Indiana, and Matthew Woods of Hampton;  half-sister:  Diane Clowers of Atlanta;  and his step-mother:  Libby Richards of Jacksonville, Florida.  Mr. Richards was predeceased by a sister, Tracy Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday evening, April 16th, at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Brian Toney.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 pm Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
