Oaklynn Mae Corbin

Miss Oaklynn Mae Corbin, infant daughter of Savannah Young and Tyler Corbin, passed away late Friday evening, February 13, 2026, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Born on January 26, 2026, at the Medical University of South Carolina along with her twin sister, Raelynn, Oaklynn was a beautiful 3 pounds, 8 ounce blessing. She will be remembered as a fighter and will always be remembered for the love that she instilled in her family.

Oaklynn is survived by her loving parents, Savannah Faith Young and Matthew Tyler Corbin of Varnville; her twin sister, Raelynn Grace Corbin; her maternal grandparents, Richard Mark and Lisa Young of Varnville; her paternal grandparents, Tyrone Corbin of Varnville and Jennifer Dixon Corbin of Yemassee; maternal great-grandparents, Patsy and Okie Harrah of Burton, and her paternal great-grandmother, Kathy Fay Dixon of Walterboro. She is also survived by her maternal aunts and uncles: Brandon Mark Young, Emily Cierra Ginn, Kelsey Ginn, Cole Ginn, Cassie Weinberg, and Madison Anne Young, as well as her paternal aunt and uncle, John Bryson Harford Corbin and Allison Elizabeth Fay Corbin.

Oaklynn is predeceased by her paternal great-grandparents: John Michael Dixon and Harford Billy Corbin and Elizabeth Jean Mixson Corbin.

Funeral Services will be 2 PM Friday, February 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 PM and last until the hour of the service in the funeral home chapel.
