Mrs. Novice Thompson Anderson, 84, of Bamberg Highway in Hampton, died Wednesday morning, August 28, 2019 in the Hampton Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Anderson was born September 4, 1934 in York County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin Thompson and Mary Ozeala "Cindy" Carter Thompson. She had worked as a waitress and hostess at the Holiday Inn at Point South and Walterboro for 35 years. She was a member of Deep Branch Baptist Church and devoted her life to caring and loving her family.
Surviving are her sons: Edward Anderson and wife Allison of Brunson, Chris Anderson of Yemassee, and Tim Anderson and wife Karen of Brunson; daughter: Marlene Terry and husband Tony of Hampton; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by her husband: Marvin Edward Anderson, Sr.; brother: Charles Thompson; grandson: John Anderson; and her fur baby, Princess.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday in Deep Branch Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Glen Samples and grandson, Brock Terry with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
The family suggests that those who wish may send memorial to Deep Branch Baptist Church, 848 Ficken Road, Early Branch, SC 29916 or the Hampton County Animal Shelter, 460 Cemetery Road, Varnville, SC 29944.
