Norman "Squeaky" Rosier

Mr. Norman "Squeaky" Rosier, 63, of Winnie Trail near Varnville died Saturday night, August 24, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Rosier was born December 8, 1955 in Hampton County, a son of the late Abner Ernest Rosier and Dorothy Lee Nix Rosier.  He had worked at Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton for several years and later was a truck driver for Ferguson Forest Products.  He was a Baptist and enjoyed riding his golf cart and visiting with his neighbors and many friends.

Surviving are his wife:  Barbara West Rosier of Varnville;  sons:  Norman Rosier, Jr. and Andrew Rosier both of Nixville;  daughter:  Kimberlee Rosier of Ruffin;  brother:  Jackie Rosier and wife Fay of Nixville;  sisters:  Ernestine Tuten and husband John and Julia Walls both of Nixville;  5 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Rosier was predeceased by a brother, Millard Rosier.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Nixville Cemetery conducted by Rev. Allan Kircher.

Visitation will be Tuesday beginning a 12 noon  at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton prior to services.
