Miss Nora Peake, of Elm Street in Hampton, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home, after bravely battling brain cancer (DIPG) for 18 months.

Nora is survived by her parents, Cassandra Tompkins Peake and Ryan Helms, Brenden Matthew Peake and Stephanie Peake, brother Chance Wilcheck, maternal grandparents, Sandra Thomas Nafziger and Tony Nafziger, John and Linda Tompkins; paternal grandparents, Douglas and Patricia Peake; step-grandparents, Don and Janice Helms, great-grandparents, Shirley Nafziger Derstine and Katherine Hunter; Uncle Jay Tompkins and Aunt Candi Tompkins; cousins, Lizzi Tompkins, Levi Tompkins, Hayden Meyer, Claira Meyer, Olivia May Meyer; special friends, Billy "Booboo" and Lisa "Meme" Mole, best friend Sophia Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.  A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 p.m.,  Sunday, January 14, at Light House Church, 2435 Augusta Highway, Hampton, South Carolina.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers make donations to the Cure Starts Now, in honor of our warrior, to help other children be better equipped for battle.  The Cure Starts Now is a non-profit organization that funds research for DIPG.  Donations can be made in Nora's name at the link, donate2csn.org/Norap
