Nancy Loadholt

Mrs. Nancy Ann Sharpe Loadholt, 64, of Grays Highway near Varnville, died Friday afternoon, March 5, 2021, in the Lowcountry Community Hospice House in Summerville.

Mrs. Loadholt was born March 6, 1956 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Barney Emory Sharpe and Martha Konig Sharpe.  She had retired from Le Creuset near Yemassee and was a member of Nixville Baptist Church where she had been active with the Sharing Hearts, Relay for Life and the WMU.  She had also been very active with the youth organizations at Sand Hill Baptist Church during her membership there.  She was very gifted at crocheting and knitting and shared her gift with mission organizations and her friends.

Surviving are her daughters Jessica Bishop and husband Karl of Varnville and Monica Loadholt of Varnville; a much loved grandson Charles David "C.D." Bishop of Varnville; and many beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Mrs. Loadholt was predeceased by her husband Charlie Henry Loadholt, Jr.; her brother Joseph D. Sharpe; and her sister Renate "Emma" Turner.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in the Nixville Family Life Center conducted by Rev. Don Turner with burial following in the Thames Cemetery near Varnville.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 3 PM at the Family Life Center prior to services.  Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton is assisting the family with arrangements.
