Michael Willard Murdaugh

Mr. Michael Willard Murdaugh, 59, of Pritchard Street in Bluffton, died Tuesday afternoon, June 2, 2020 in the Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville after a brief illness.

Mr. Murdaugh was born September 11, 1960 in Hampton, a son of Juanita Winn Murdaugh of Bluffton and the late Thomas "Buddy" Murdaugh.  He had worked with his family business, Classic Fence Company, in Bluffton and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He attended the Church of the Cross in Bluffton.

Surviving besides his mother is his fiance' and caregiver: Marianne Stevens of Hardeeville; his chosen children:  Keri Peterson of Largo, Florida, Sean Brugnoli of St. Petersburg, Florida and Daffeny Row of St. Petersburg, Florida; brothers:  Gary Kevin of Bluffton and Sean Murdaugh of Bluffton; and sister: Veleta Larsen of Bluffton.  There are four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3 PM Saturday in the Lawtonville Cemetery in Estill directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.
