Michael Wayne Crites

Mr. Michael Wayne Crites, 56, of Speed Limit Road near Varnville, died early Sunday morning in the Hampton Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Crites was born in Akron, Ohio, December 21, 1960, a son of the late Okey Carlon Crites and Mary Ellen DeLoach Crites.  He had retired as a Phone and Cable Technician working in the Beaufort County area.

Surviving are:  Step Children:  Joshua Russom and wife Brianna of Chicago and Joseph Russom and wife Brittney of Beaufort;  Sister:  Debra C. Cope and husband Johnny of Varnville;  5 Step Grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Thursday in the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial in the Live Oak Cemetery near Varnville conducted by Rev. Joseph Williams.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 P.M. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
