Mazie Benton

Miss Mazie Elizabeth Benton of Brunson, passed Thursday morning in the Pruitt Health Facility in Orangeburg.

Miss Benton was born Sept. 28, 1955 in Beaufort, a daughter of the late Hugh C. Benton and Mary Ellen Sullivan Benton. she retired as a Receptionist at the Hampton Regional Medical Center, and was a member of the West End Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with Ceramics, Reading and watching Old movies.

Surviving are: Sisters: Ann Benton Hallman and husband James of Neeses, and Mary Frances Benton Altman of Bruson; Brother: Timmy M. Benton and wife pam of Brunson; Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 4 P.M. Sunday at the Graveside in the Bowers Cemetery, conducted by Brian Henderson and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Staff at Pruitt Health in Orangeburg, for their special care that was given to Miss Benton.
