Mary Frances Ferguson

Mrs. Mary Frances "Tookie" Prince Ferguson, 60, of Byrnes Street in Allendale, died Monday, September 20, 2021 in Allendale County Hospital.

Mrs. Ferguson was born October 13, 1960 in Hampton County, a daughter of the late Johnny E. Prince and Mary Alice Nettles Prince.  She was one of the original Emergency Medical Technicians in Hampton County when the emergency medical services began in the county.  Later she worked as a bookkeeper for several of the businesses in Estill and was a member of Scotia Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Wayne B. Ferguson of Allendale; son Brandon Ferguson of Allendale; daughters, Rachel Prince of Scotia and Katie Ferguson of Allendale; one sister, Vivian P. Dobson of Hilton Head; and six grandchildren, Zaina, Ciara, Tyler, Mason, Madelyn and Greyson.

Memorial services will be 4 PM Sunday, September 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Gene Long and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service.
