Martha Moseley

Mrs. Martha Ann Rivers Moseley, 82, of Stanley Street in Hampton, died Wednesday night, January 6, 2021 at her residence after an extended illness.

Mrs. Moseley was born June 17, 1938 in Hampton, a daughter of the late Dewey Lee Rivers, Sr. and Cynthia Mae Woods Rivers.  She was a homemaker and was a Charter member of West End Baptist Church where she had been active with the WMU.

Left to cherish her memories are:  her son, Donnie Moseley and wife Charlene of Hampton; daughter:  Bonnie Rozier and husband Jim of Hampton; brother Carnell Rivers and fiance' Cindy of Hampton; grandchildren:  Mark Moseley, Joshua Moseley, Courtney Ginn and Lindsey Ginn; great-grandchildren:  Mark Moseley, Ayden Moseley and Emma Ginn; and her special caregivers:  Susan Edwards, Bernice Crosby and Marilyn Smith.  There are also numerous special nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Moseley was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Willie James Moseley; brothers:  Dewey Lee Rivers, Louis Vernon Rivers, George Herman Rivers and Donald Russell Rivers; and sisters:  Irene Ernestine Rivers, Mary Elizabeth Rivers and Betty Louise Rivers.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday in the Hickory Grove Cemetery conducted by Rev. Larry Smith and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at the cemetery.
