Mr. Marion Wilson DeLoache, Jr., 78, of Lena-Furman Expressway near Estill, died Wednesday evening, February 17, 2021 in the Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Mr. DeLoache was born April 20, 1942 in Orangeburg, a son of Virginia Crapse DeLoach and the late Marion Wilson DeLoache, Sr.. He had retired in 2004 from Meade Westvaco Timber Company after 32 years of service and was a member of Lawtonville Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, Nascar racing, was Past Master of the Sunset Masonic Lodge #331, and had been a member of the Stafford Masonic lodge #216 for 40 years.
Surviving besides his mother of Estill is one niece: Laura Duncan and husband Tony of Ellabell, Georgia; one nephew: Joseph Wilson DeLoache of Savannah, Georgia; great nephews: Tristan and Cameron; great-nieces: Lauryn, Taylor, Brittany and Miranda; great-great-nieces: Layla and Lainey; two aunts, and multiple cousins. Mr. Deloache was predeceased by his father and a brother: Edwin Davis DeLoach.
Graveside Services with Masonic Rites will be 4 pm, Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the Steep Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Dr. Jamie Norris, and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.
