Margaret Baugh Griffith

Mrs. Margaret Baugh Griffith, 76, of Pooler, Georgia, formerly of Varnville, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.

Mrs. Griffith was born February 1, 1944 in Orangeburg, SC, the daughter of John A. Baugh, III and Nan Bass Baugh.  She had retired from the Farm Service Agency in Hampton.  She was a member of Varnville First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class.

Surviving is her daughter, Amy Griffith Divel and husband Leith of Savannah, Georgia.  She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Howard (Tootie) Griffith, Jr. and her brother, John A. Baugh, IV of Orangeburg.

Graveside services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Neeses Cemetery, 471 Henry Road,  Neeses, SC conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton.
