Marc Edwards

Mr. Marc Alan Edwards, 50, of Guyton, Georgia, died Thursday evening, September 9, 2021, in the Augusta University Medical Center.

Mr. Edwards was born August 26, 1971 in Omaha, Nebraska, a son of Jerry Dennis Edwards and Bonita Jean Birge Edwards.  He was a machine operator with Lummis Company in Pooler, Georgia.  He enjoyed classic cars and hunting.

Surviving besides his parents of Guyton, Georgia is his wife, Janet Lynn Heape Edwards of Guyton, Georgia; step-daughters, Adrienne Firster of Walterboro and Casey Firster of Hilton Head; sister, Barbara Lynn Huston of Niceville, Florida; his in-laws, Gilbert H. and Mary Ann Heape of Varnville; and grandchildren, Anthony, Alex and Owen.  There are a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday, September 13, 2021, in the Heape Family Cemetery near the Cummings Community, conducted by Rev. Jordan Ayer and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service.
