Mr. Mannie Wade Prince, 71, of Furman Nixville Parkway near Estill, died Sunday afternoon, October 4, 2020, at his residence after an extended illness.
Mr. Prince was born December 15, 1948 in Hampton County, a son of the late Earvy Wade Prince and Frances Marie Stanley Prince. He was an automobile mechanic and had worked with Tison Motor Sales in Estill for 14 years. His hobby after retirement was working on cars and spending time with his family.
Surviving is his wife: Imogene DeLoach Brunson Prince of Nixville; son: Mannie Earvy Prince and wife Tina of Hampton; brother: Larry Earvy Prince of Lena; sister: Dot Long of Hampton; grandchildren: Felicia Bullock and husband Eric of Manning, William Thames of Nixville, Roy Thames and fiance' Meggine of Nixville, Tommy Heard of Hampton, Jimmy Daniel and fiance' Cassie of Nixville, Bobby Daniel and fiance' Amber of Nixville, Heather Prince and fiance' Shea of Nixville and Lesa Prince and fiance' Dustin of Hampton; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren. Mr. Prince was predeceased by his parents, a brother Charlie Prince and a sister Marie Prince.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial in the Varnville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
The family will be at the home of the son, Mannie Prince, located at 507 Oak Street West in Hampton.
