Loren Floyd Follett, Iii

Mr. Loren Floyd "Butch" Follett, III, 63, of Melody Lane near Varnville died Tuesday evening at his residence.

Mr. Follett was born August 25, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland.  He was the owner and operator of B & A Masonry Company and was very active in the Little League Baseball program.  He was president of the Little League Association in Orange, Virginia and the Umpire Association.  Mr. Follett also umpired in the Little League World Series and taught other umpires.  He was an Army Veteran serving with the 82nd Airborne and was a member of the American Legion Post in Hampton.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Ann Baxley Doering of Varnville and his many beloved pets.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
