Mr. Lloyd Preston James of Port Wentworth, GA passed away Friday, September 15, 2023.

Mr. James was born on December 09, 1981, in Savannah, Georgia, a son of the late William T. James, Jr. and Sarah Louise Cook James.

Surviving are:  Daughters:  Mary Katelyn Mussen of Ellabell, GA and Jubilee Renee James of Pembroke, GA;  Son:  Preston Lee James of Port Wentworth, GA; Brothers:  David James and wife Caroline of Statesboro, GA, Walter Morris of Swainsboro, GA, Wallace Morris of Midville, GA, and Roger Burke of Swainsboro, GA;  Sisters:  Ronda Opolka of Swainsboro, GA and Lisa Stavely of Wadley, GA;  Grandsons:  Reed Alexander Mussen and Remington Adam Mussen of Ellabell, GA.  Mr. James was predeceased by a brother Michael T. James.

Visitation will be Friday beginning at 1:00 PM prior to graveside services at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2023 in the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery in Hampton, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton.
