Linda W. Harvey

Linda W. Harvey passed peacefully Monday, May 2nd at Pruitt-Health in Walterboro following an extended illness. She was born December 1, 1945, the only child of the late James Heyward Wooten and Betty Ruth Molihan Wooten.

A lifelong resident of Hampton County, Ms. Harvey was known for her love of animals; a voracious reader with a quick wit and generous soul.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Harvey was predeceased by her husband Sim (Simmy) H. Harvey, III.

She is survived by her daughter Vicki H. Garvin (Phil) of Hampton, and son Sim (Sy) H. Harvey, IV (Phillip Hunter) of Savannah, GA. Granddaughters: Jaimie G. Bible (Mark) of Greenville, Carrie G. Strickland (Daniel) of Brunson. Great-Grandchildren: Ainsley Jo Bible, Knox Bible, Grayson Strickland and Emerson Strickland.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. in Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery, Hampton, conducted by Elder Terrell Harvey and Elder Paul Tuten and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service.
