Libby Erickson

Mrs. Libby Ann Williams Erickson died Monday evening in the Pruitt Health Care Facility in Estill.

Mrs. Erickson was born February 5, 1933, in Luray, a daughter of the late James Monroe Williams and Ruby Youmans Williams. She had retired as a bookkeeper, and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Mrs. Erickson enjoyed sewing, gardening, and working with crafts.

Surviving are sons: Russell Lloyd Gibson of Luray and Dana Monroe Gibson of Hampton. Daughter: Jodie Gibson Dennie of Texas; and her best friend Peggy Rogers of Summerville. She was predeceased by two brothers: Jerry Allison Williams and James Bernard Williams.

Graveside services were held Friday, October 22, 2021, at 11 A.M. in the Hopewell Cemetery, conducted by Reverend Larry Smith, and directed by Peeples - Rhoden Funeral Home
