Leon Westberry

Mr. Leon Smith Westberry, 81, of Browning Gate Road near Nixville, died Monday evening, December 7, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Westberry was born October 27, 1939 in Estill, a son of the late Leon G. Westberry and Irene Smith Westberry.  He was the owner and operator of a trucking company and was an Army Veteran.  He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his son:  Ryan S. Westberry and wife Susan of Denver, Colorado; daughter:  Jenne W. Buseman and husband Jason of Edina, Minnesota; sister:  Mary Traxler of Rock Hill, SC; and grandchildren:  Maeson Marie Westberry, Anna Katherine Buseman and Hunter Buseman.

Private services will be held Tuesday, December 15th, in the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be sent to Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 6276 Browning Gate Road, Estill, SC 29918.
