Lenville Carroll Platts

Mr. Lenville Carroll Platts, 88, former resident of Pocotaligo Road in Hampton, died Wednesday evening, December 25, 2024, in the John Edward Harter Nursing Center in Fairfax.

Born November 11, 1936, in Hampton County, Mr. Platts was a son of the late Lewis Carroll Platts and Amelia Robertson "Minnie" Platts. He was a retired farmer who enjoyed gardening and horticulture having grown many beautiful flowers which he graciously gave to others across the low country. Mr. Platts will also be remembered for riding his bicycle along with his brother in the Hampton area visiting his many friends in the community.

Surviving are his sisters:  Caroline P. Peeples and husband Cecil of Edisto and Margaret "Peggy" P. Ginn and husband Tommie of Hampton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in the Brunson Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the services at cemetery.
