Kimberly Moseley Martinez

Mrs. Kimberly Katrine Moseley Martinez, 48, resident of Varnadoe Road in Winter Haven, Florida, wife of Luis Martinez, died unexpectedly, Saturday, December 20, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida.

Born June 11, 1977, in Hampton County, Mrs. Martinez was the daughter of the late James Archie Moseley, Sr. and the late Gail Katrine Hodges Roberts. She attended the public schools of Hampton, graduating early from Wade Hampton High School in 1995 but walking with her class in 1996. Mrs. Martinez worked many years as a housekeeper and enjoyed crafts, art, and gardening.

She formerly attended Open Arms Fellowship in Hampton.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Luis Martinez, of Winter Haven, is her daughter, Halie Martinez, and son, James Martinez, both of Winter Haven. She is also survived by two adored grandchildren, Armani Martinez and Ezekiel Hearns.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martinez is predeceased by a brother, James Archie Moseley, Jr.

Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor James Porter. Burial will follow in the Sandy Run Cemetery near Hampton.

Visitation will be 5 PM – 7 PM Monday evening, December 29, 2025, at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, Hampton Chapel, located at 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924.
