Kenny Bennett

Mr. Kenneth Edwin "Kenny" Bennett, 63, of Lightsey Street in Brunson, died Saturday evening, June 6, 2020 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Bennett was born May 28, 1957 in Hampton County, a son of Frances Shaw Bennett of Varnville and the late Glenn Bennett.  He did general maintenance work in the Hampton County area and loved to plant his vegetable garden and furnish vegetables to his many friends.  He was a member of Deep Branch Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his mother of Varnville is his daughter:  Erica Danielle Tuten and husband Alan of Brunson; brother:  Donnie Bennett of Varnville; sister:  Sissy Davis and husband Johnny of Brunson; three grandchildren, two nephews and three great-nephews.  Mr. Bennett was predeceased by his father and a son, Trenton J. Smalls.

Memorial services will be held 10 AM Friday, June 12, 2020 at Deep Branch Cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to assist the family with funeral expenses.
