Kendra Elizabeth Clifton

Mrs. Kendra Elizabeth Peele Clifton, 65, of Confederate Street in Darlington died Saturday afternoon, August 15, 2020 in the Regency Hospital in Florence.

Mrs. Clifton was born October 25, 1954 in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late William Kenneth Peele and June Green Peele.  She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Salley.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will always be remembered for her love of flowers, fishing, her animals and her faith in the Lord.

Surviving is her husband:  Harry Eugene Clifton, Sr. of Darlington; daughters:  Tracey Edwards and husband Paul of Varnville, Tina Sanders and husband Davey of Hampton and Nicole Clifton and fiance' Charles Truett of Darlington; son:  Timothy Clifton, Sr. and wife Misty of Yemassee; sisters:  Wanda Borup of Houston, Sandy Collins of North, Sonya Altenborf of Houston, Sissy Fogle of North and Lisa Acuff of Wagener; brothers:  Charles Peele of Wagener, Barry Peele of Salley and Michael Peel of Wagener.  There are 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Clifton was predeceased by a son Harry Clifton, Jr. and a brother Pete Peele.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly with burial in the Sandy Run Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 1 PM prior to services at the Funeral Home.
